Old Worksopians
Malcolm enrolled as an Old Worksopian soon after leaving school and did attend quite a few reunions in those early years, probably to visit his brother Stewart who was there until 1960. Malcolm attended the Whitsun reunion in 1959 and his name is recorded on the attendance list. He attendeed the London dinner at The Cumberland Hotel on 18 March 1960. At that event Mr.Beanland had jokingly said to Malcolm "I hear that you gave up smoking when you left school".
In the following years, Malcolm made the occasional visit to Worksop such as in 1989 when he called in with his family on the way back from holiday in York. In the year of the college's 125th anniversary, Malcolm sent a video to congratulate the school on it's achievement. He also made a number of donations of memorabilia to the college archive and the receipt of one of these was put onto Facebook.
