A special renunion was held on 20 May 2006 to celebrate the period that Roger Northcote-Green was headmaster. It was well attended and Malcolm took his wife Brenda to share the experience.
There was an excellent display of photographs and other memorabilia to bring back memories of the period. Also, the headmaster's wife, Mrs Jane Collard, hosted an hour of recollections given by the former pupils and which she recorded. It was at this session that Malcolm finally learned the tructh behind those responsible for the memorable firework display in the quadrangle on night.
Malcolm's teammate for the 440yds, M R Woodcock, was present but Malcolm was not able to catch him to reminisce. He would loved to have remarked how he was never able to beat him. Not surprising really as Woodcock had held the school record for over sixty years.
