Poetry

Malcolm wrote a number of poems which he later collected into a note book. These transcriptions have been made and are set out in the order they were written. The latter poems were obviously written after Malcolm had started work. His colleague Hamish Thew was quite literate and they encouraged each other.

The candle
Devotion
Torment
To my love
After the ball
Declaration of love
Winters season
Hope in despair
Love
Upon giving up smoking
The great road race
Rain
The Candy Pole
Time
November 8th
To Solitude
Lonliness

Later still, in the company of colleague Dave Johnson, Malcolm put his talent to composing lymericks, none of which are suitable for publication.
