November 8th

Suddenly I feel anew
For love at last I've found.
In former days I lonely grew
But now my fate has turned around,
Bringing joy and happiness,
Filling up my emptiness.

I watched her dancing round the floor,
The graceful movements thus she made;
Such beauty I had not seen before,
I was afeared less I betrayed
My urgent feeling of desire,
My heart a-brimming o'er with fire.

I caught her eyes with a look
Which carried with it love;
Held out to her like a book.
She looked back, and thus behove
I should take my new found thing
For all the pleasures it would bring.

Perfect together are we,
Of love and joy so full.
Happier we could not be,
And with time our love will mull.
We are grateful for the chance
Which brought us both to that dance.
