This opera by Gilbert & Sullivan was quite an ambitious project but it came off very well and was
thoroughly enjoyed by the cast. Malcolm sang a tenor part on the chorus of peers (back right in the
top picture). Hugh Walters played the part of Strephon and went on to a career in TV and films.

A recording was made of the opera and extracts put onto a 10" LP record
