This was a long weekend break taken at the Ship and Castle Hotel in St.Mawes where Malcolm and Brenda had stayed previously. They toured around locally during their stay there. One afternoon, Malcolm took a walk along the coast path eastwards from Porthluney towards Boswinger. Another day he took Brenda to visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan where they particulary liked the walled vegetable garden. One day, whilst on the green in front of St.Mawes Castle, they observed some people tipping old plasterboard down the cliff face. Malcolm rang the Police to alert them but the procedure became complicated as a vehicle was involved so Malcolm terminated the call.
