The front lawn

The front garden was originally divided by a central path from the road to the front door but Malcolm grassed this over when reconstructing the garden. The grassed area was dug over and levelled off before reseeding. After the front path had been laid the new flower beds were cut out and gradually stocked with plants.

Spring bulbs were planted in between the heather around the base of the Monkey Puzzle tree
