Emma Humble was last of the five childen of Riachard and Mary Humble and was born at Sutton at Hone in Kent in 1872.
Her father died in 1873 after which her mother married Jamed Hood in 1874. The census of 1881 shows her living at Goss Hill in that village along with her step-brothers and half-brother.
The census of 1891 shows Emma still at 4 Goss Hill just with her mother, step-father and step-brother Albert. There was also a "nurse child" called Rose A Bohn aged 3 of Reading, Berks in the household.
Emma married Francis J Clark in 1891. Son Richard was born in 1894 and Charles in 1897. Daughter Sophia was born in 1899 and Dorothy in 1900.
The census of 1901 shows this family having moved to 12 Patterson Street in Blaydon, Durham, which is where her husband had originated. No trace can be found of them thereafter.
