This was a 998cc mini in Citron (a bright yellow). Doady bought it in part-exchange for her Austin 1100 from Verwood Motors in Ringwood Road, Verwood, but when she got it home she found that the bonnet was welded down. The garage took it back and fixed it but the manaufacturer would not believe what had happened and would not accept the charges. Doady also refused to pay so the garage ended up by standing the cost.
