This is how the house looked in September 1994. The house to the right was damaged during
World War 2 and later demolished. Despite the house having three bedrooms, it was quite
an ordeal for a family of nine children to be brought up in such a small house but
they all worked in together. The house was demolished around 2004 and one of Rosie's grandchildren
managed to save a few bricks from it as momentos.
