Sun 10 OctExeat Sunday, did not go out. Walked into Welbeck park and got to the lake - geese, pheasant

Thu 21 OctWent to Sheffield with the Stamp Club and saw a super exhibition
Fri 22 OctCaptain Peter Churchill gave a very good lecture on the Resistance movement in France.

Sun 24 OctNo exeat. Rainy and rather boring. Choral Society in morning
Mon 25 OctCCF. Learned, or rather, taught knots
Mr Adams conked me on the nut with a ruler. Got a parcel. Scored a try
Tue 26 OctWoke up for first frost at Worksop.
Wed 27 OctNothing much to do and the same amount happened
Thu 28 OctHeard the Vienna Boys Choir in Sheffield. Very good. Off at 6:00 back at 10:30. Half day

Sat 30 OctWatched match against King Edward's school. Nothing interesting
Sun 31 OctExeat. Did not go out. Boring day. Super evensong
