In July 1979, Malcolm and Brenda, Malcolm and Brenda joined their Dutch friends Hans and Ynskje on a camping holiday in Derbyshire. They pitched their tents alongside each other on a nice quiet campsite in Moneyash.

Hans and Ynskje were avid cat lovers and temporarily adopted a kitten which they named 'Moneyash'. The kitten lived on the adjacent farm and had wandered over to inspect us.

They spent their week mostly exploring the Derbyshire Dales but also spent a day in the city of Lincoln. They also visited the Crich tramway museum.
