The back lawn

The back lawn started off as a place for general use and where the washing line was situated. Gradually, the area was whittled down for other purposes. A screen comprising trellis panels and a planting of shrubs was made alomg the line of the access way for the back field. After the children were born, a hedge was planted to isolate the vegetable garden and gates installed to keep then away from danger. However, that did not stop son James trying to ride his tricycle down the concrete steps.
