Malcolm had to walk to The Jolly Farmer in Bagshot where he would probably get the Aldershot & District 07:39 Route 1 to Bagshot Square. Alternatively, the 48a would get there at 08:01 but that was a bit close as the route 75 for Bracknell left at 08:04. Malcolm left the bus by the Sports Centre in Bagshot Road then walked to site. Route 75 was jointly operated between the Aldershot & District and Thames Valley bus companies.
