Nigeria - 3rd trip

This was a return trip to Lafia Nigeria to complete the work for STC cut short by Malcolm's accident at the previous visit. He kept a
diary as usual to report progress to his employer.

Malcolm flew from Gatwick on 1 June 1978. Before going to Lafia, he spent some time visiting George Wimpey & Co at Ikeja to re-establish contact. He then continued to visit the IMEG camp at Ikorodu to investigate a complaint, however, when he arrived there they were not expecting him and had no expectation from him.

Malcolm then flew to Port Harcourt to follow up on his assessment of the problem thay had with dampness in the buildings. After detailed inspection and analysis, he found that the cleaner threw a bucket of water onto the floor then mopped it up and no-one had spotted this before.

On 8 June, Malcolm flew to Enugu, continuing on by car to Lafia. He then set about assessing the work that had been done and set out a plan to complete it. Work was completed by 20 June on which day Malcolm went to Kano to get a flight home. After some difficulty, he left the following day.
