Not much of this holiday can be remembered at the time of writing, fifty years after the event.

Malcolm and Brenda had driven up, entering Scotland on the east side, staying in bed and breakfast which they found on the way. They then crossed over to the west coast and worked their way up to somewhere north of Fort William before returning much the same route.
