This light grey Morris Coupé was maintained by a mechanic called Riley Welch at his garage close to the hospital in Ashford.  Archie sold it during the war to the landlord of the Royal Oak public house at East Bedfont.  The car was laid up for the remainder of the war and reputedly started first time when taken out.
