Albert Smith was born on 7 October 1888 in the village of Eynsford in Kent and was a son in the eleven children of Thomas and Mary Smith and his name and date of birth are recorded on the Family Register kept by his parents.
Sadly his life was short and he died on 13 December the same year having suffered a convulsive fit.
