As the ball was on a Friday night, Brenda changed her dress at work and the other girls helped her with her makeup. Malcolm met her at the shop and they walked to the college. The ball went on all night and Brenda returned straight back to the shop in the morning, changed clothes and started work. She was flagging pretty badly by the afternoon but made it through the day.
