The party was held in a function room in Highgate Lane. There was a nice cake to cut then presents to be opened. Then followed some organised games and dancing. The party finished at midnight but Brenda and Malcolm wanted to continue so they drove up to the Blue Flamingo nightclub in Soho, London. Georgie Fame was playing with his band The Blue Flames supported by Zoot Money and the Big Roll Band.
