Agnes Mary Parsons was born on 28 January 1870 at Liverpool in Lancashirey. Her names were given to her in memory of her young sister Mary Agnes who had died two days earlier. She was baptised at St.Anthony's church on 13 February but sadly died one year later on 7 February 1871 having contracted Whooping Cough. The family nurse Mary Molyneux was with the child when she died. Agnes was buried with her sister in Ford cemetery on 9 February.
