St.Margaret's Studios c1930
The studio was created by the London Film Company in 1913 by converting
a former ice rink. In 1920 the studio was sold to The Alliance Film Company.
An article in Kinematograph Weekly on 17 August 1922 reflected on the fact
that Sydney had worked for both these companies in the capacity of Studio Manager.
Sydney's daughter Doady recollected that the studio used to hire furniture from a nearby store.
