In Companies with the Royal Artillery the following arrangement for support had been arranged by K. O. S. B.'s - The Code word Short Range would direct the 75th Battery R.F.A. to fire on a German Battery located about 1500x (approx.) in front of 36 trench - The Code word Shell would direct the 75th R.F.A. to fire on a German "?????"
