Lieutenant N.B. LETHBRIDGE was reported slightly wounded in the ear. -

2/Lieut BATTLE reported from R1 trench that as nearly as it was possible to tell the position of the Enemy's guns shelling R1 was at an angle of 1370 and at a distance of from 800x to 1500x. This was reported to Brigade Head Quarters. -

2/Lieut BATTLE reported that the first three shells fired by our guns seem to be very close to the spot where the Enemy's guns were firing from. -

All was reported quiet to Brigade hdqrs. -

As there were only 3 machine guns with the Battn, the Commanding Officer ordered one to be brought up from the support at BLAUWEPORT FARM, at dark. -

 
3.35 pm     18.2.15         "
The O.C. B Company commanding Q trench reported that they were being shelled, and also that they were having mortars used against them, and that an attack seemed probable. -

One Company of the K.O.Y.L.I. in support at BLAUWEPORT FARM was ordered to move to Battalion head quarters at once, this action was reported to Brigade head quarters. -

Lieut H. F. LITCHFIELD was wounded by a shell in Q trench in the arm. -

Lieut J. K. MATHER was killed in S1 trench, the report was received from the O. C. Kings Own Regt to whom A Company was attached. -
