This is The Royal Colonnade in Brighton where Samuel lived
with his family and had his shop bewteen about 1821 and 1830.
The numbering of the shops does not match the numbers in the Directories,
therefore it is likely that the premises were renumbered during the intervening period.
The photograph was taken about 1880.
