William Fifoot was born around 1802 in Cardiff in 1827.
William married Ann Thomas at Leckwith, Monmouthshire on 26 November 1820.
According to the census of 1841, the family were living in the St Mary district of Cardiff in Glamorganshire. At that time William was working as a shipwright. The 1851 census records the family living at Wind Bound in Nash and that he was employed as a store keeper. There were two visitors, Phillip and Sarah Ausling, in the house at the time the census was taken.
William died at Nash on 30 August 1855 and was buried there on 3 September.
