Arthur William Dryden was born on 12 January 1924 in Croydon, Surrey, the eldest of the two children of Alfred and Lillian Dryden.
No reference to Arthur have been found in the 1939 register.
In 1948, George married Alma Gladys Smith after which their son Geoffrey J was born in 1957.
It would appear that Arthur and Alma later emigrated to Canada as the death of each of them was recorded at Brampton in the Peel region of Ontario province. Alma passed away on 5 July 2008 and Arthur on 14 August 2017.
