Leslie Horace Clark was born in Guildford on 17 Agust 1886 and baptised in St.Nicolas church on 29 September. He was the eldest of the three children of Thomas and Eliza Clark.
The 1891 census shows that the family were living at 2 Baillee Road, Guildford, Surrey. At some point after that, Leslie emigrated to Canada.
On 3 August 1912, Leslie married Dorothy Susie Peerless Wadey in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Daughter Dorothy Mary was born about 1913, Molly Violet about 1915. In 1916, Leslie is shown on a passenger list as returning from a trip to England.
Daughter Betty Susie was born about 1918. The family are listed in British Columbia in the Canadian census of 1921. Leslie is recorded as being a Mechanical Engineer.
Leslie died in Duncan, Cowichan Valley, British Columbia, Canada on 6 October 1956. He was cremated at Royal Oak, Victoria, British Columbia.
